Mission Statement and Code of Conduct – Insights from our online workshop

On 20 November 2024, members of the ARL International Forum Gender and Spatial Transformation gathered online for an inspiring workshop. This session was an important opportunity to reflect on our ongoing activities and strategize our future direction.

The major focus of our meeting was to review and refine our Mission Statement. There was a lively discussion around the draft, with members providing feedback to ensure that it accurately reflected our collective vision. After a short break, we turned our attention to our draft Code of Conduct. This session emphasized the importance of a collaborative culture rooted in mutual respect, care and inclusivity. We also devoted time to planning for future endeavors, including our planned workshop in Hanover in early 2025. Members engaged in brainstorming to identify potential keynote speakers and themes that will play an important role in our upcoming activities.

This workshop not only strengthened our current projects but also laid the foundation for a fruitful working process in 2025. Thank you to all participants for their invaluable contributions!
