MOBILE MEETS MOBILITY – join the 2023 ARL international photo contest
It is time again for a free and non-commercial ARL photo contest - this time on the occasion of the 2023 ARLCongress “Towards a viable and mobile future”!
The ARL is looking for your personal view on a socially just and ecologically responsible mobility – a multi-layered theme and we are excited to receive your impressions, illustrations and ideas, but also your criticism and perspective on contradictions!
What does mobility have to do with social justice? How is mobility related to topics like sustainability, gender or accessibility? And why does COVID-19 have an impact on all of that?
Share with us what comes to mind when you think of these questions and what you would like to see in a mobile future. We look forward to your ideas!
Participation is open to all! Please upload your picture via the online entry form with a short title and/or a suitable quotation by 20 May 2023 at the latest. You may submit a maximum of two photos.
We will exhibit a selection of photos at the 2023 ARL Congress in Leipzig from 22 to 23 June 2023 and on our Knowledge and Communication Platform at arl-international.com.
Rules of participation:
- Participation is free!
- Please provide a short title and/or a suitable quotation or personal statement
- Our jury will choose the winners in an anonymous selection process; there is no right of appeal.
- Employees from the ARL Headquarters are excluded from participation
The prices are: The winner will be awarded a calendar with a selection of entries, the runners-up will receive a photo book with a selection of entries and the third-place winner will receive a motif of his/her choice in poster format. We will also print the winning entries as postcards with the photographer’s name and their title/quote/statement.
Congress participants can vote for a winning photo. The winner of the vote will receive a special audience award.
We will contact the three first-place winners as soon as a decision has been reached, and we will publish their entries on the ARL’s Knowledge and Communication Platform (arl-international.com) in late June 2023.
