Special Issue on Small Towns and Metropolitan Cores, part 2
Part 2 of the Special Issue on "Small Towns and Metropolitan Cores" has been published.
The international working group "Small Towns and Metropolitan Cores" has published the second part of its Special Issue in the European Journal of Spatial Development.
The second Special Issue includes contributions from Franziska Görmar, Yane Conradi and Inga Bolik, Giancarlo Cotella, Christophe Demazière, Sebastian Dembski and Loris Servillo, as well as Donato Casavola, and Elisabetta Vitale Brovarone. It addresses the discursive interrelation between small towns in East Germany, reflects on discourses and ideas about the relationship between metropolises and small towns, examines the role small towns play in the governance of European metropolitan areas, and illustrates through a case study from Italy how small towns are integrated into metropolitan governance.
