A brief recap on the ARL Summer School 2025 on Land Management at NMBU, Norway

From 17 to 19 June 2025, the Summer School on Land Management was held at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU) in Ås, Norway.

On 26 May 2025, members of the ARL International Working Group “Resilient Metropolitan Regions – Spatial Planning and Management for Urban Transformation” met online for a follow-up plenary meeting. 

Missions are a new instrument of the ARL, with which the work and transfer formats are aligned to topics and fields of action with high currency and relevance.

On 27 and 28 March, the international ARL Forum Gender and Spatial Transformation had the opportunity to contribute to the poster exhibition at the ARL Congress 2025 'The Future is Now! Shaping the Socio-Ecological Transformation' at the Leopoldina in Halle (Saale). 

On 17 and 18 February 2025, members of the ARL International Forum Gender and Spatial Transformation convened at the ARL headquarters in Hanover for an insightful two-day workshop.

On 27 and 28 March 2025, the ARL International Working Group “Resilient Metropolitan Regions – Spatial Planning and Management for Urban Transformation” contributed to the poster exhibition at the ARL Congress “Future now! – Shaping the socio-ecological transformation” in Halle (Saale). 

For the ARL Photo Contest 2025, we invited participants to capture the socio-ecological transformation through images.

The University of Coimbra will host a Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) titled "Migration, Displacement, and Health" from June 23-27, 2025, in Coimbra, Portugal.

The Open Access book "Land Policies in Europe", supported by the ARL and originating from the ARL’s international working group (IAK) of the same name, was presented at the International Academic Conference on Planning, Law, and Property Rights on March 7 in Cardiff – in the week of its publication.
