Information

Nataša Čolić is a researcher at the Institute of Architecture and Urban & Spatial Planning of Serbia since 2018. She holds PhD in Urban, community and regional planning from Heriot-Watt University (2013-2016), MSc in International spatial planning from Newcastle University (2010-2011), and Bachelor degree in Architecture from University of Belgrade (2007-2010). Her practice and research are in the field of sustainable urban development, urban governance and participatory planning at local and national level. She conducts qualitative research in this field (GIZ/Ambero project “Strengthening of local land management in Serbia”, 2012, 2017; Research projects of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of Serbia 2018-). She engaged in comparative research on planning and territorial governance practices in the EU landscape (ESPON Compass 2016-2017; CLEVER – international SMF INTERREG DTP project 2018-2019). Since 2020, she is a member of an international working group supporting Gender- and climate-just Cities at Academy for Territorial Development, Leibniz Association. She is a member of the Editorial boards of the scientific Journal “Spatium International Review” and “Arhitektura i Urbanizam”.
