TRUST-/ARL Doctoral Programme

Introduction

  • Promotion of young researchers
  • Excellence-oriented, cross-faculty, structured support for young researchers

Excellence-oriented promotion of young researchers in the thematic area of "Spatial Transformation"

In order to ensure excellence-oriented, cross-faculty and structured support for young researchers in the field of spatial transformation, the ARL runs an interdisciplinary doctoral college together with the research centre "TRUST - Transdisciplinary Rural and Urban Spatial Transformation'" at Leibniz University Hannover (LUH). The individual doctoral projects deal with aspects of spatial structural change in cities and rural areas from natural science, ecological as well as engineering and social science perspectives.

The TRUST/ARL doctoral programme offers a three-year structured programme for young researchers in geography, environmental planning, landscape planning and architecture, spatial and urban planning, sociology, history, political science, economics, law and related subjects.
